About our PCN
The Prince Rupert Coast Ts’msyen Primary Care Network is a collaborative partnership between the four Coast Ts’msyen communities (Metlakatla, Lax Kw’alaams, Gitxaala, and Gitga’at), First Nations Health Authority, Northern Health and the Pacific Northwest Division of Family Practice.
The Harbour Clinic is located in Prince Rupert and is currently in the implementation stage (as of March 2026). There are 2 Physicians currently practicing in the clinic. The goal is to expand this space into a collaborative team environment by integrating Allied Health services such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, a Pharmacist and a Chronic Disease Nurse.
The Mobile Primary Care Team enhances access to care across the four Coast Ts’msyen communities – Lax Kw’alaams, Metlakatla, Gitxaala and Gitga’at. The team travels directly to each community, improving access to culturally safe, community based care. The PCN has funded two Registered Nurses that are dedicated to serving these communities.
The Maternity Clinic is a collaborative, community and team-based clinic designed to support expectant mothers, parents and newborns from conception through approximately six weeks postpartum. The team of Nurses, Midwives and Family Physicians provide prenatal care, labour/delivery care and postpartum support.
